Every month, one of our signature two night getaways gets an extra dollop of secret sauce. This April, Michel Roux Jr will be commandeering the kitchen in Peel’s for your finale dinner. Always the warmest of hosts, Michel will be greeting you at your table and there’ll be after-dinner drinks with the legend.

WHAT'S IN STORE

Day one:
Kick off with Stuart Deeley’s spring menu in Smoke for your first night.
Day two: 

Morning: Opt to test your inner master chef on our hands-on sourdough workshop with our baker Min Go

Afternoon: Ease into the afternoon with a complimentary wine tasting.

Evening: Dine in Peel’s with Michel Roux Jr comandeering the kitchen pass.

After dinner, get together with Michel Roux Jr for after-dinner drinks and questions.

From £1100 per couple inclusive of both dinners, wine tasting, bed and breakfast for two nights. Opt to add in our sourdough workshop at £35 per person.

FIRST NIGHT: DINNER IN SMOKE

Smoke sits on the edge of the Manor’s walled garden where Masterchef The Professionals winner, Stuart Deeley, is cooking over coals.

The food celebrates seasonal produce cooked with creative simplicity and soul.

Stuart’s home is the honest setting of the old furnace house where you can shake off your best manners and dig in. The space invites a convivial atmosphere with its rustic charm, fire pits, greenhouses and stripped back vibe.

SOURDOUGH WORKSHOP

Our estate is all about food and we’re designed to feed the curious. Your second day is an invitation to get alongside our team and learn some inside secrets.

Add in a workshop to your stay.  Have a hands-on dabble in the kitchen with our sourdough workshop with resident baker, Min Go. £35 per person.

WINE TASTING ON THE HOUSE

Join us for a complimentary afternoon wine tasting in our Victorian greenhouse. This isn’t about detailed wine notes or pontification. Whether you’re a wine newbie or have a cellar of your own, this story-telling led wine tasting will have interest to all.  Let us take you off the beaten track and introduce you to natural wines that might surprise your palate.

DINNER IN PEEL'S WITH MICHEL ROUX

The main event. Dinner with the main man. Michel and our head chefs Darren Meacham and Monty Stonehewer will be putting together a tasting menu to showcase the best of Michel and Peel’s Restaurant.

Michel will be around to chat to and after at our after-dinner drinks. With only 19 bedrooms, this will be an intimate audience.
