Named one of Britain’s Best Bakeries, Hampton Manor’s walled garden bakery freshly bakes stoneground sourdough, pastries, and our famous cinnamon buns.

We are an artisan bakery worth travelling for; specialising in traditional processes and sustainable sourcing, serving rustic, slow-fermented bread, plus an array of sweet and savoury bakes.

Open Thursday to Sunday from 8.30am until 12pm. Just don’t wait too late to come and see us as we always sell out.

Getting to us is easy.

We are 13 min train ride from Birmingham New Street, with a 5 min walk from to Hampton-in-Arden station.

For those driving, we have dedicated free parking open in the mornings. We’re a 15 min drive from Solihull or 25 mins from Birmingham. We often have guests popping in on their travels down the M6 – we’re just a 5 min detour from junction 4.

Dogs and children welcome, with a range of indoor and outdoor seating for you to enjoy your bakes. We’re a five minute walk from Hampton-in-Arden train station and offer dedicated free parking.

Stoneground Sourdough & Ancient Grains

Under the leadership of our head baker, Adam Cross, we use stoneground UK grown grains, sourced from farms with a regenerative and organic ethos, to bring the distinctive flavour that our bread carries.

All our baked goods and pastries are made from this meticulously sourced grain. Expect croissants, sweet and savoury pastries, cakes, tarts and our famous cinnamon buns.

Please be aware that as a small artisanal bakery with national acclaim, we tend to sell out by 11am due to our popularity, especially on sunny days as our walled garden is so loved. We encourage you to get there early to ensure there is a good selection for you to choose from.

Everything is hand baked at 4am on our estate so once it’s gone, it’s gone! Coffee will continue to be served for anybody who misses out and our larder shop will be open til 12pm.

Our Bakery is set into the walls of Hampton Manor’s walled garden where we grow with organic and regenerative methods.

You’re welcome to take a stroll around our walled garden and enjoy in its calm and beauty.

Please note, the Manor House and grounds are not open to bakery guests, being reserved only for overnight staying residents.

COFFEE & LARDER

Alongside our breads and bakes, you’ll always find a single origin coffee on filter, as well as barista-made drinks. We also offer a selection of specially curated larder essentials, all from UK businesses, with stories behind them. Expect single origin coffee beans and Townsend apple juice. If you fancy yourself a baker, you’ll also find flour from Tuxford Windmill and Wildfarmed.

HONEY

We’ve two hives in our walled garden which are looked after by our beekeepers Sarah and Sally-Anne. You can find jars of Hampton in Arden honey collected from hives around the village, including those in our very own walled garden.
