Kynd
Kynd is a produce-led restaurant, which celebrates the joy of food through simple, thoughtful cooking. Expect generous dishes, rooted in heritage and flavour, championing British produce, through a Scandi lens.
From its rustic home around the estate’s Victorian greenhouses, you’ll always find comforting cuts, like a flat iron steak with garlic and onion miso butter. With a menu from our Michelin starred, chef, David Taylor, you’ll also get the chance to opt for the sort of snacks you’d expect to find in the wine bars of Oslo, where David was previously based. Think artichoke crisps with a moorish artichoke and harissa dip.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
In the warmer months, when the Great British weather behaves, we are sometimes able to seat guests in our restored greenhouses, or terrace. Simply put a note in your reservation if this is your preference.

WINE LIST
Kynd celebrates simplicity, with wines on tap from our cutting edge key system, sustainably delivering exceptional quality and value by the carafe. Beyond the kegs, the team champions low intervention wines by the glass and bottle. Exceptional fruit quality and flavour through responsible farming is what to expect. We also offer a thoughtfully curated selection of cocktails, mocktails and beers, including carbon negative Gipsy Hill on tap.

HEAD CHEF
Kynd marks David’s second restaurant to open on the estate. While Grace & Savour specialises in immersive, multi-layered dining experiences, at Kynd, the focus shifts to a more casual yet considered offering, showcasing ingredients in their purest, simplest form while embracing the low-waste, farm-to-table ethos set by its Michelin-starred counterpart.
