Taste of the Estate is a dining experience set inside the original Manor House.  The Tasting Room is our private chef’s table where you have views into the Manor’s kitchen where chef’s finish dishes over the BBQ.  The menu created by Michelin Starred Chef, David Taylor celebrates signature dishes from both our restaurants, private dining menu and bakery giving a true taste of the estate.

 

Gather together to unlock the house and enjoy areas otherwise reserved for residents. Start with signature snacks in the Library bar, before heading into the kitchen to meet the Chef’s before you are seated in your own private room with views into the kitchen where the chefs cook over coals.

Enjoy a five course tasting menu with the theatre of chefs preparing your feast over open fire. Think dishes like Tandoori monkfish with a fennel chutney, Hereford beef fillet with peppercorn sauce and smoked butter mash, and apple Tarte Tatin.

 

 

Throughout dinner, you’ll be able to see your chefs preparing your next course, and there’s the chance for as much or as little interaction as you would like.

After your cross-over course and pud, you’re invited back to the grill, this time on s’mores. And if you’re just not ready for the night to come to a finish, we can thoroughly recommend end-of-night cocktails in our games room. Just watch out for how addictive shuffle board can get.

Taste of the Estate is available for groups of between four to eight. The experience is £95pp. Drinks packages and pairings available. We can cater for vegetarian and vegan diets—just notify us of dietaries at the time of booking.  Available lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
