The Manor carries with it a rich romantic history.
From Eleanor of Castile and the tempestuous Edward I, to Elizabeth I and her reputed lover Robert Dudley, it’s slipped through the fingers of some of Britain’s most controversial lovers.
There’s no longer a lady of the Manor, but a stream of guests who celebrate the relaxed lifestyle the the Manor nurtures. With Peel’s Restaurant at its core, it’s all about bringing together people who love great food and entertaining, and want nothing more than to kick their feet up away from the fast-paced lifestyle of London or Birmingham city living.
Brides and Grooms, pick up the keys to the Manor and unlock its charm as you sip champagne on the lawn, wine and dine your guests in Elizabeth’s Court, and dance the night away under the chandelier.
We’ve had a fair bit of practise when it comes to running weddings at the Manor. To make life easier for you we’ve put together our Classic package which ties together the essentials for crafting your perfect wedding day. Bespoke it up with your favourite wines from that romantic trip to those Italian vineyards, or Wagyu beef on the BBQ.
Recently our Creative Director’s sister, Laura, chose to tie the knot at the Manor. She opted for a Sunday with exclusive hire of the estate, an afternoon tea wedding breakfast, and fish, chip & bottled beer supper. The Lazy Sunday package was born! Now we give you given the opportunity to take over the Manor and create a completely chilled and unique wedding day for yourselves.
T’was the week after Christmas, and as the fires still glimmered in the grates, bauble-decked trees manned the lobby, and the smell of mulled wine wafted through the corridors, we thought ‘what could be better than a post-Christmas, pre-New Year wedding at the Manor?’ With exclusive use of the whole Manor our Winter package lets you stoke up the fires and gather your nearest and dearest for a festive, snow-capped celebration.
