BRYONY & ROB

AN AUTUMNAL WEDDING

Bryony is a well known name in the wedding business. She has won awards across the country and worked on the stars at London Fashion Week as a make up artist. So she had a full notebook of venues and styling ideas at her fingertips when it came to choosing her own place to say I do.

“From the moment we walked into the manor we were overwhelmed by it’s atmosphere.

It felt calm, full of comfort, love and care all while giving off a very cool vibe of “We know how to party!”.

We were hooked and despite continuing with our plans to visit multiple wedding venues that same afternoon, we both later admitted that it HAD to be Hampton Manor.”

An inspired season

We were really inspired by the time of year our wedding would take place.

Autumn, my favourite month, both for its colour palette and the crisp, bright light. We booked Hampton Manor on a day when the Acer tree on the Terrace was a vivid shade of red and we chose a day at the same time of year.

Feeling inspired from this, our rich colour palette was born with heaps of burgundy, golds and foliage. Further inspired by the venue we began to form a “country luxe vibe” with the boys in tweed suits, my very embellished golden dress and pheasant feathers amongst our florals. It was so satisfying seeing it all come together.

FOREVER MEMORIES

“The most memorable part of the day for myself was walking down the aisle into a room full of our favourite people. A moment I had thought about endlessly during the lead up to our big day and a part of our day I had felt so nervous about and yet as I headed down the aisle with all eyes on me everyone had so much emotion and happiness in their eyes it was so infections I couldn’t feel nervous.

I was arm in arm with my Dad heading towards Rob my now husband feeling my most beautiful, happier than I could have ever imagined.

It suddenly all felt very real in the best possible way. Plus Rob cried and we all know that’s all that really matters!”

COUNTRY LUXE

“Hampton Manor was everything we wanted from our potential wedding venue: a setting rich in history, style, character and a huge factor for us – epic food! It ticked every box for the preconceived vision we had for our day.

Our “country luxe” wedding vibe was very much inspired by the venue itself. We wanted a nod to the venues beautiful grounds and location but felt that anything too shabby chic would jar with it’s luxe interiors and boutique feel.”

LOVE AND ATTENTION

“We have so much love for Claire and all the family at Hampton Manor. They truly made our wedding day. From the moment we set foot inside Hampton Manor we were overwhelmed by everyone’s warmth, knowledge and genuine care and attention for our wedding but also us as individuals.

From answering my many emails, putting our minds at ease when the mid wedding planning stresses started to make us feel a little crazy, the in-depth meetings that put me the biggest control freak ever at total ease and finally on the day – welcoming us and our nearest and dearest with open arms. They ensured all our suppliers had everything they needed so we didn’t have to. The slick organisation and running of our day that meant we didn’t lift a finger and finally – the gourmet hot dog that Charlotte put in our room to enjoy over an end of night wedding de-brief because she overheard me saying I couldn’t bring myself to eat a hot dog in my wedding dress knowing I would definitely get it all down my front!

I couldn’t praise the wedding team at Hampton Manor more!”

FOODIE LOVE

“What do all our guests keep talking about? The food was UH-MAZ-ing! We had so many comments on the day and even now, over a year on continue to, from our guests saying how blown away they were which each time just makes us beam. As big foodies, great food was a top priority, we wanted our guests well fed and watered and so hearing this will never ever stop feeling so good!”

EMBRACING THE MANOR

“Already Hampton Manor feels like a hugely special place and we have no doubt that it’ll continue to do so forever more. We have embraced the manor from the moment we booked our wedding during the summer of 2017.

We celebrated my birthday with amazing afternoon tea with my family, I took my bridesmaids for a sleepover after a successful day of dress shopping in early 2018 and this year, on our first wedding anniversary we went back to Hampton Manor for a divinely special meal at Peel’s which will absolutely be a tradition. We have no doubt that we will have many more happy memories at the manor in the years to come.”
