THE GREAT BRITISH STAYCATION
It’s rare to find a whole estate dedicated to crafting a 3 day adventure for the intrepid foodie. Our passion for food, wine and immersive experience has inspired us to reimagine the British short break for those that love food, story and meaningful connection.
With forty five acres of woodland to roam, a walled garden, a Manor House and charming Victorian greenhouses, the scene is set .
From £395pp for 2 nights with dinner on both nights, bed, breakfast and inclusive of a complimentary wine tasting.
FIRST NIGHT: WOOD-FIRED FEASTS IN THE WALLED GARDEN
On the first night, you’ll dine at Smoke – our most rustic setting on the edge of the walled garden. You’ll find Masterchef The Professionals winner, Stuart Deeley, tending the fire. Surrounded by the candle lit green houses and our old vines, you’re in for a night to remember. The menu is 3 courses inspired by our garden that day. Picture fire pits, slow roasted meats and garden vegetables, cooked in the wood-fired oven and with Stu’s signature creativity.
We’re here to feed the curious. Your second day is an invitation to get alongside our team and learn some inside secrets. Workshops and experiences that will put a bit of wonder back into life after lockdown. Chocolate, art, bread, pottery, wine, essential oils… just a few things on the cards.
During your stay, you’re invited by our family hosts for a complimentary wine tasting and a guided tour of the walled garden where we’ll introduce you to the stories behind all that you’re enjoying.
This summer, our seasonal workshop is a breadmaking workshop with resident baker, Min Go. £35 or £50 inclusive of lunch.
SECOND NIGHT: A MICHELIN-STARRED DINNER
The finale of your stay is a Michelin starred tasting menu in Peel’s Restaurant with optional wine pairings. Finish off in our large and comfy lounge, picking your favourite tunes form our vinyl collection or discover a new tipple at the Maker’s table!
